The redevelopment of the east end of Level 3 of the Main Ward Building at The Alfred Hospital, to provide an Integrated Cardiac Care ward to accommodate both surgical and medical patients, as well as a High Dependency unit to accommodate coronary care patients and cardiothoracic surgery patients.
The ward is a 20 bed, Single Acute Room, 4 Bed Assessment Ward, 6 Bed Cardiac Day Procedures Unit, Patient Ensuites/WC, Staff Lounge, Staff Station, Doctor's Works Rooms, Medication Room, Dirty/Clean Utility Rooms, Storage, Linen, Infection Control Hand Basin layouts and IT/Comms Room.
