Illoura, a 62 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility for North East Health - Wangaratta, Victoria
This new facility was constructed on a greenfield site replacing the existing nursing home which had stood adjacent to the Hospital on the Wangaratta Campus. The project provides a mix of single ensuited bedrooms and shared ensuited bedrooms. It includes ESD features such as rainwater harvesting and recycling. The facility includes accommodation for dementia specific residents and includes many design features to assist with way finding, harm minimisation and the initiation of ageing principles.
